About Rajasthan Board (RBSE)

The history of the Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) is a remarkable panorama of the past four decades of developing a dynamic system of various sub-systems of academic excellence and a progressive record of future vision for the future. BSER took rapid steps for the promotion and development of secondary education in Rajasthan, which is spread over 3,42,239 square kilometers. And in the year 2000 there are more than 6000 schools located in 32 districts covering 8.5 lakh students for Secondary and Senior Secondary exams.

With the declaration of the Rajasthan Secondary Education Act in 1957, this board was established on 4 December 1957 in Jaipur. It was shifted to Ajmer in 1961. In the year 1973 it started functioning in its present multi-storey building, which started with an attractive dignity.
