About SJE Scholarship
The department functions as a nodal agency for implementing programmes for upliftment of SCs, STs, OBCs, Specially abled, widows, destitutes and other socially & economically weaker sections of the Society. The Department is entrusted with welfare of these segments of the society.
The main activities of the department are :-
- Socio-economic development of targetted group.
- Educational enhancement of targetted group by way of scholarships and hostel facilities.
- Schemes for social security to old, specially abled and widow/destitute etc.
- Programmes for rehabilitation of drug addicted persons, bootleggers, unclaimed women etc.
